Mindfulness is about being intimately in the present moment, intentionally and without judgment. Through an honest exploration of our inner lives, we’re able to have clear seeing about the belief systems, past experiences and personality elements that constrict us from the abundance we’re seeking most. Through meditation and mindfulness, we’re able to effectively untangle ourselves from fear, stress, anxiety and depression as we expand our container to manage the ebb and flow of our inner and outer lives.
Recent studies from Harvard University found that people who meditate have an increase in brain activity, amounts of grey matter, and in the auditory and sensory cortex of the brain. It found that meditation reduces stress, clears thinking and increases empathy.
